Around 3.30 PM UK Time today, Labour MP Michael Meacher is to ask an “urgent question” ragarding the Bilderberg conference in the House of Commons, reports UK Parliament.
Although the online outlet stresses “timings are approximate and Parliamentary Business is subject to change”, Meacher is expected to ask the urgent question immediately following that day’s Question Time.
An urgent question is a parliamentary act that carries some weight, because it requires an answer of the questioned minister. Furthermore, it allows other MP’s to ask additional questions about the same subject.
